15th September 2019

On Sunday 15th September the East of England Apples & Orchards Project will have a display of Norfolk apple varieties in the park,  and are inviting  members of the public to bring along any unidentified apples from their gardens or allotments to be named by their experts. Between 12 and 3.
About three typical fruits would be good to see. There is no charge for identification.
The older the trees are the more likely they are to be interesting older varieties and there are a number of old Norfolk and Norwich raised ‘lost’ apples which were last recorded in the 1930s so there is a good chance some will still survive in peoples’ gardens etc.
