Eaton Park Christmas Market and Carols
Friday 16 December 2022
6pm to 9pm Christmas Market
7pm singalong festive songs and carols with Dereham Town Band
on the bandstand and under the collonade
Everyone is welcome to this festive evening in twinkly Eaton Park. Eaton Park Café will be serving festive fare all day and into the evening. There will also be special appearances by Father Christmas and Norwich City’s Sheriff, Caroline Jarrold. Local craftspeople, makers and suppliers will have stalls to browse under the collonades and at 7pm the singing will begin!
Download a Christmas Song Sheet and print a copy or use your mobile phone or tablet to gather round and sing along with your friends and family.
The rotunda and bandstand have steps so bring torches, wear warm (and Christmassy!) clothes and comfy shoes. Don’t be put off it it rains – bring an umbrella and wear your waterproofs! Please leave the car at home if you can for this lovely family event. One of the things that makes it so special is that people come by bike, perhaps by bus and walk into the park together.
In the event of very heavy rain and flooding we may need to cancel. Keep an eye on Facebook and Twitter for updates.
Eaton Park’s Christmas Market and Carols is organised by Eaton Park Café and Friends of Eaton park. With thanks to Norwich City Council for hosting the event.
